This book contains 100 pages of beautiful grayscale art by Alena Lazareva which would bring many hours of enjoyable coloring if it weren't for the rough paper which requires very heavy pencil pressure. I colored one picture with my Prismacolors and couldn't get the colors to blend well at all due to the paper quality. I don't know what I will do with this book as I will not try to color any further pages. I suppose I could buy a ream of card stock and reprint my choices of art at my local office products store because I can't print card stock with my new printer. I won't be purchasing further books by this artist unless she uses better quality paper in the future.
Absolutely love this book! It's printed on Create Space paper but don't let that stop you. A gentle hand, Castle Art Pencils and a Derwent Blender and Derwent Burnisher and you're set to color Alena's beautiful art work. I'm planning on buying many more of her Grayscale books. I guess you could say I'm rather hooked, her books satisfy my creativity. Thank you, Alena!
This is a beautiful book of Alena's LAZAREVA art work just beautiful illustrations of her work I'm a fanatic adult coloring book collector and this book has 100 pages of nothing but amazing art work each page is of one of her other books put in just one big book very nicely put together I got this book for my birthday and I was so excited to get it just gorgeous breathe taking grayscale coloring book I am so amazed by it I look in it almost every day ALENA LAZAREVA is an amazing Artis she is . If anyone buys this book I promise you will not be disappointed in it .
I expected more scenic & animal pictures. What I got were nice pictures of half naked women! They were nice but not what I wanted! Out of 100 pictures, I colored 3.
I absolutely LOVE Alena's artwork. The only reason I gave this book a 4star rating is that I wish the paper was a little better quality. Having said that, I can't waitto stat coloring these great images!
I love this color and book it has very awesome pretty pictures and they're all gray scale I'm a big gray scale fan I highly recommend it to anyone who loves coloring gray scales or just coloring in general
My girlfriend loves grayscale n this is her favorite color book.
