Very useful information on eating healthier in combination with traditional western medicine. This book is important to read as most doctors do not provide their patients with enough information on the importance of a good diet.

I love this book and have been recommending it to everyone I know. I thought I ate pretty healthy before I read this book but I learned of so many ways that I can help my family eat even better. Upon completing this book, I bought a juicer and I have been juicing everyday and I feel better than I have felt in years. I love how the author breaks down information into specific chapters for common illnesses and offers explicit instructions for diet, herbs, juices and supplements. The other thing that is great about this book is that the author does not make you feel as though good nutrition is an all or nothing choice. The information is presented in a way that you feel as though any small change you can incorporate is a step in the right direction because let's face it....we all cannot eat perfectly all the time.

Great book which explains how to use food to heal the body. Easy to understand and well written.

Excellent book, full of healthful information and recipes. I was already on this path of healthful nutrition, and this book reinforced me 1oo%. I was so impressed with his healthful juices that I bought a 'Vitamix' one of his suggestions. I love it, making my own healthful juices with a variety of veges and fruits. I first read this book from the library and new I needed to have it on my bookshelf, so purchased my own copy for future reference!

Great book. Belongs in every home library.

This book follows its title. I couldn't decide between this one or ChefMD's Book of Culinary Medicine. I ended up reading both. This is an interesting and informative read.
